BlackDog Snub Lead

$18.00

The BlackDog Snub Lead is a compact and sturdy training tool designed to provide effective control over your dog during training sessions, walks, or other activities. This lead is especially useful for large or strong dogs that may require more manageable handling in various situations. Its short length allows for closer control, making it ideal for use in crowded areas or during training exercises. This lead is specifically helpful for training your dog to be able to go off lead with the illusion of a lead attachment as you gradually wean them off the lead completely, this gives you a back-up handle to grab as they slowly learn not to need the lead.

Attach to Collar or Harness: Securely clip the Snub Lead to your dog’s collar or harness. Ensure the clip is properly fastened and won’t easily come undone.

Regular Inspection: Check the Snub Lead regularly for signs of wear, especially at the attachment points and handle. Replace if you notice any fraying or weakening of the material.

Cleaning: If the lead gets dirty, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.

Drying: After washing, let the Snub Lead air dry completely before using it again. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading or damage to the material.

Proper Storage: Store the Snub Lead in a dry, cool place when not in use. Keeping it properly stored helps maintain its condition and extends its lifespan.

Monitor Usage: Always supervise your dog when using the Snub Lead, especially in new or challenging environments, to ensure their safety and well-being.
