Textured LickiMat designed to calm dogs by encouraging licking and reducing stress and anxiety.
Preparation: Clean the Lickimat Classic before use with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack).
Spread Food: Spread a layer of soft food or treats like yogurt, peanut butter, or wet food onto the textured surface of the mat. Ensure it covers the surface evenly.
Introduce to Pet: Place the mat on a flat surface accessible to your pet. Encourage them to explore and lick the food off the mat.
Monitoring: Supervise your pet initially to ensure they are licking and not chewing the mat. Remove once they finish eating or use it for a set duration.
Cleaning: Hand wash with warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher (top rack) after each use.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Inspection: Regularly check for signs of wear and tear. Replace if the mat shows any damage to prevent ingestion of small pieces.
